Brian pulls his flute back out and begins playing, using the wisps of light created by it to illuminate the area. He then starts searching for any signs of life.

Brian would in fact detect a lifeform very close by. Around the corner, to be exact.

Mark yelped in shock surprise, abruptly dropping his sword from the pain of the gunshot.
“Ow! What the Hell?! I didn’t mean that!” he seethed, the bullethole in his arm sealing back up as it regenerated, dislodging and expelling the bullet from his arm.

“I that case I apologize for shooting you, I’ve been on edge since I got here. Since we both seem to have a need to catch the Gamemaster in one way or another, I’d like to propose a partnership. I could bring you on as a consultant for this case, and we can go after him together.”
