Mark dodged it, and slashed his sword at Elias’ legs.

Elias jumped over it and formed two shadow swords, then slashed and stabbed.

Mark blocked one blade, but his arm was cut by the other.

Richard whacked his cane into the back of Elias’ neck.

Elias growled and whirled around, slashing at Richard.

Richard ducked, and threw a punch at Elias’ ribs

He would succeed.
Elias growls and elbowed towards Richard.

Richard was elbowed in the throat, and he fell onto his back.

Elias stepped towards him and raised his swords, ready to stab down.
He hesitated, and something in his eyes changed.

Everyone stood still, coinfused by Elias’ sudden pause.

The moment passed and Elias thrust his swords downwards.

Richard rolled out of the way.

“Can you create more light?” He asked Bruce and Katrina.

Bruce and Katrina nodded, forming more lights.
Elias roared angrily anf stabbed at Richard again.
He seemed less himself than ever.

Mark got between them and locked Elias from attacking Richard.

Gamemark scoffed.
“We’re wasting our time here. Let’s go.” He said to the Dark Heroes.
He opened a portal and stepped through it with the others in his team.

“Come on! We have to follow them!” Mark said to the others.

Elias looked between Mark and Gamemark, hesitating.
His eyes shifted again, and he stood frozen, torn between two sides.

“Well? Let’s go!” Gamemark barked.

Elias shuddered.
“I-cant.” He spat out, struggling to form the words.

Gamemark formed a half grin.
“Not a problem. I guess I’ll just make you do it myself.” He said as he shot a small Xalnergy beam at Elias to corrupt him.

As the beam hit Elias, he doubled over in pain.
He groaned and looked up at Mark, the old Elias shining through.
“Please help me.” He gasped, before standing up straight.
Though his face betrayed his pain, he turned and walked stiffly towards Gamemark.

Bruce fired at Gamemark.
“Don’t let him get away!”
