Edward walked out of the temple, looking much happier.
“Alright. Let’s get going. Once we reach my lab we’ll be able to rest and have a decent meal. You’re all going to love it.”
“…why do I feel weary about this…”
“About what? It’s a nice place. Sure I only got the one bed so you guys will have to sleep on the floor, but it’s better than sleeping outside.”
“I agree. Why? I trust him.” Saras answers.
“very well.”
“Believe me, you’ll love my home. It’s a great place.”
He simply nods in response
Tortwig nods excitedly. “What are we waiting for, then? Let’s go!” She said with a big grin.
Frostvin rolls his eyes at Tortwig and says, “As long as none of your other robots bother me and try to dissect me or anything, I’m fine.”
“Oh don’t worry. Alpha and Beta are the only ones that help me with experiments and projects. The rest of the legion just help to keep the place running.”
Frostvin shrugged. “Great.”
Oliver starts the cart, and it began heading towards the west
Tortwig walks alongside the cart, humming a cheerful tune as she went.
Frostvin walked behind the cart, keeping an eye out for enemies.
Edward helped Melissa on to Reginald’s back. They all then followed the others. Though not staying nearly as far behind or far ahead as Edward typically did.
Saras followed the cart on this Journey to the West, keeping a sharp eye out for any hostile creatures.
There was a wyvern nest on a nearby mountain ahead
Saras turns to the rest.“Watch the skies. There’s a wyvern’s nest nearby.”
“yeah, I see it, hopefully they’re out hunting elsewhere.”
“We can hope.” Saras agrees.
“Believe me. I’ve had just about enough of dragons for a lifetime.”
Edward said.
