So back when Ninjago was airing in 2012, we should all know that my name is Jay. My mom knew I liked the blue ninja (whos name I never told her, but if you don’t know, it’s also Jay). I was watching the new episode and my mom was there too, then someone mentioned his name.
The next 5-10 minutes resulted in me explaining that me and him having the same name had nothing to do with me liking him. Neither was the color blue. Painful stuff.
Oh yeah, then there was a re-airing of ‘Double Trouble’ with the Bad Boy Jay and Nya scene. She was there too. Ay yi yi, that was terrible.

I had to explain to them why all my Bonkles were so scary and gruesome looking and what I found so appealing in them. This when I was 6. And these were the same parents who wouldn’t let me play HALO at 15 years. Or watch American Horror Story until I was 18.

So, the placement of the red pins on Kiina’s torso is…unfortunate. I know because my parents noticed. As this was '09, and my first set was Tarduk, I did not have any other female Bionicle sets to prove that this was…uncommon.
