I mentioned in the best/worst years thread that I had a full collection of the 2001 sets in my room, so here’s what that display looks like:
All the standard sets are accounted for, plus the Vahi, gold Kanohi, Hafu and Sand Tarakava. After this picture was taken I added the Fikou and Rahi Master Builder sets since Fikou isn’t relevant to the later years and it’s super obvious that the Master Builder set was intended for 2001, but I digress.
Here’s the first three years in one shot:
I have an assortment of 2004-onward sets too, but they’re not currently assembled.
2004: Vakama, Nuju, Matau, Orkahm, Tehutti, Ahkmou, all six Vahki, all three Titans, Lhikan and Kikanalo.
2005: Vakama, Nuju, Matau, Whenua, Keelerak, Keetongu and the Visorak Battle Ram.
2006: Garan, Zaktan and Thok.
2009: Mata Nui.
2010: All six Stars.
2015: I used to own all the Toa, LoSS, and Ekimu vs. Kulta but wound up trading them for a friend’s stash of early year Bonkles that gave me a big boost toward finishing the 2001-2003 collection. I do miss them, but I have no regrets.

I’ve been in the process of rebuilding my sets, after having taken them apart for failed attempts at MOCing. Seeing so many broken 2008-2009 limb pieces is kind of discouraging, though. Even some of my 2006-2007 sets’ limbs are broken or in the process of it (though I did play with them a lot when I was a kid, so that might have something to do with it).
