Crack! Goes the sound of a great beast colliding with wood and stone a deep smothered sound coming from below
Artemis moved to the sides of the room. He needed to be prepared for the confrontation.
Kahoran unsheathed his swords, the ringing sound echoing around the walls.
“Show yourselves!”
The sounds continued growing louder and both interlopers would swear that they could feel the ground shaking
Kahoran crouched warily.
As the cracking grew in intensity it would soon reach a point where it was thunderous as if the sky was coming down.
And then it stopped, and from the central basin in the chamber a figure cloaked in wraith like smog slowly rose from the water.
Artemis watches the figure. He needed a plan quick… so the necromancer whistles really loudly. Nothing immediately happens.
The dark figure flickers like a candle flame as they slowly stride forward, a sickening cracking noise accompanying each step.
They might hear the chatter from some locals that a girl in a red cloak was at the red docks. From what they might hear several people were already trying to figure out who this person was and why they wore a red cloak. Some though her to be the sign of the end times, others though she was an idiot. However, both sides of the argument did comment on that it seemed as if a seafolk was following her.
Artemis smiles when he starts hearing the call of crows just outside the building.
The stranger makes his way towards the city, entering it shortly. He had short brown hair and hazel eyes. He was dressed like a hunter, bow slung over his back and a full quiver of arrows to boot. He had a pendant hanging from his neck, with the markings or symbol of his god.
Torinn stumbles out of the tavern drunk as a lord, with a bottle of booze swinging from his arm.
@Jcton
Turning to the stumbling figure of Torinn “Feeling better?” Aep enquired.
Torinn makes an effort to steady his gaze at Aep, and also attempts the task of pointing at him.
“Ssssscrrew you…”
He then walks off down the street.
@Bramsley
“Suit yourself!” Aep retorted, albeit feeling a bit stung by Torrin’s remark and unable to come up with a better comeback.
