Lacey followed Logan.
âOh so you are done.â he said standing up. âAlright letâs go.â Logan said as he lead her out of the quarters.
Ryan sighed. âOh those twoâŚâ
Sara transformed, passing a couple of other gunpla.
Sara would find that Nathanâs Amatsu Mina was in front leading the group.
She fired a couple of shots at the upcoming suit, aiming for its wings as she got closer.
This was no ordinary Mobile Suit this was Amatsu Mina, Nathanâs Gunpla and Team Iron-Blooded secondâs ace.
The sensor system warned him about the shots and quickly turned avoiding them while mid move and quickly fires percies shots at Saraâs Mobile suit with the 75mm Multi-barrel CIWS.
She dodged the shots, focusing on keeping her spot in the race as she fired back.
Amatsu Mina elegantly passes through a spike letting it being hit by the fire provided by Sara as it speeded. âI must win the race.â he said.
Irame would keep her spot pretty consistently, slowly climbing through the ranks in areas that were especially treacherous for the larger mobile suits. Due to the Ballâs small size allowing it to fit through gaps that would normally be lethal, the Ball had to make evasive maneuvers far less often than others and as such was able to stay at top speed for longer periods of time. Even if it didnât seem like much, every little but helped.
While for the other mobile suits keeping speed was hard for Amatsu Mina it proved to be a challenge yes, but thanks for the speed and agility Mina had, Nathan didnât really have a problem to dodge corners and spikes with efficient speed, while it was still leading the group on the top of the spear, every advantage and tactic mattered, Nathan needs to stay on his ace game and that he does.
He would find that as he crossed the 1st checkpoint that the gaps became smaller and much harder to pass, the Tallgeese behind him had crashed into a spike and exploded on impact.
A GM takes notice of him and speeds up.
Nathan notices it. âHmm, Iâd better watch it here.â he said, Amatsu Mina repositioned her wings, changing from a wide span to a shorter ones and continued flying with speed.
Irame notes the reckless behavior of the GM in response to his steady ascension in the ranks, and checks to make sure the cannon on top is ready to fire. Things may get hairy.
Past the first checkpoint things would become even more advantageous for the Ball, as it is able to use the smaller gaps in the many obstacles to bypass them when other Mobile Suits would have to take more extreme evasive maneuvers.
Lacey nodded, following Logan.
@MichaelTheLightBringer
Harvey maneuvered through the tunn, passing the first checkpoint.
Eventually, they would reach the stadium 2 where group 1 took place in the race.
âWow,â Logan said. âNathan is leading the packâŚâ
Heâd realize that Nathan was the one leading the pack.
Lacey nodded.
âHarvey isnât doing too bad.â
Harvey frowned and sped up.
âYeah,â he said taking a seat.
Nathan notices him catching up a bit. âNot bad.â he compliments as Amatsu Mina increases her speed and does a circle avoiding the spikes mid-air.
All teams in Group A would soon pass by the half point of the track, it only got harder from there, as some moving spikes started to appear.
Nathan reacted quickly and notices. âMoving spikes?â he asked. âSo they are getting a bit more creative huh?â
He types something on the console and the wings fully folded and tucked in the backpack and combined their thrusters into two powerful ones and she started to fly, dodging the spikes one was so close that Amatsuâ head narrowly dodged the spike as Nathan watched in slow motion.
Mina spins and continues to fly maintaining her speed. âThat was a close call, Iâd better not get cocky.â he told himself.
Irame would quickly notice, and use the scanners of the balls to pick up on patterns long before he approached the moving spikes. Using the patterns and the maneuverability and small size of the Ball, he was able to maintain a relatively fast speed, and began even passing some of the faster Mobile Suits which didnât have the same advantages that the Ball provided. Of course the more skilled pilots managed to keep up a relatively fast speed, but even they were occasionally tripped up by the sudden movement of a pillar.
