But… But that set is one of HF’s lowest points in my opinion.

i liked it because it was the first actually nice build i’d had since bionicle

of course i love gen 2
because it gave us a gearbox
and piston add ons
and gave us a good story already
the masks actually look cool
and much more
That story of g2 is just as basic, the animations are not as quality, and besides the gearbox the sets are super similar.

Bionicle actually has some lore and style
PLUS it gets major factors for being quite tribal
at least from me

it sucks because it’s story was overly simple.
not because it was not bionicle
So is gen2’s story, it’s super simple, And you don’t like the sleek design and wanted Pistons, plus you wanted a tribal series verse future robots. Sound like you wanted bionicle and hated HF because it doesn’t forfil those things you want while bionicle does.

I’m more confuse at how you don’t see that you wanted bionicle more and defend g2 because it’s bionicle. You complained that HF had sleek pieces, but correct me if I’m wrong, bionicle uses the same ones man.
You seem to want to start conflict, that may not be the case but that’s how it seems.

i complain tha HF had sleek parts because it took them and ran with them.
The new bionicle uses those parts because that’s what lego has to do
correct me if i’m wrong but HF used bionicle parts. in it’s first year.
and 2001 bionicle used slizer parts.

To be absolutely honest I think we all might have overestimated the actual interest in HF. Many people bought them for the parts. I for one got them because I could take them apart without feeling ashamed. I never cared about the characters or the story.
