Majestic League VOL. 2

He raised an eyebrow, but simply followed

Gridmaster warped one of the lasers enough when he attempted to dodge, making turn enough to barely miss him. He attempts it with many of the others, but they instead graze his metal armor, with at this point is wearing thin. Gridmaster released his armor showing a metallic being that was inside, almost akin to clockwork, instead of the streamlined armor he wore. Gridmaster was now lighter and faster, his energy could clearly be seen. He focused in thrust points and managed to reactivate them. Gridmaster smiles and sends two energy balls at Runa, with little aim and he throws one to the police. The energy balls were like lasers in function.

They entered the Chem-X building. “You see, Lance, Chem-X may seem like just another faceless chemical corporation, but that is not true. In al actuality , we are secretly the most recognized corporation in the world.” He opened glass double doors, leading Lance down into the basement of the building. “Chem-X is one of the most powerful companes in the he world. Do you think that is a coincidence?” The chem-X man didn’t give Lance a chance to respond. “-You probably do. Anyways, we have gotten here for a reason, with hard work, a few lies here and there, and lots of cover-ups and murders.” The lights suddenly began to flicker. “-All to advance our hidden agenda.” Suddenly, everything was pitch black. When light returned to the room, it was no longer artificial light. Lance found himself standing in a large ceremonial ritual room. And in place of the chem-X man was a Plague Doctor.

“oh?”

The Plague Doctor was watching the fight from afar, studying the 3 beings and their moves.

Runa would fly above them, one scraping by his foot and leaving a mark. The crystal in his chest sparks. “R-Mechanical Overdrive!” He calls, and the red eyes of his mask turn a bright green, as green electricity and fire come out from under his pauldrons, his ankles, and the neck of his chestpiece. He fires two lasers at Gridmaster, both about 2.5 times the power of a normal blast, and then came at him at high speeds, trying to engage a close-quarters brawl.

The color of the bright blast reflected off the eye lenses of the Plague Doctor’s mask. Interesting. If I could harness that power… he thought, his mind wandering off.

IC: “Where is this place? This city, and the country? I do not know…where I am.”

The dark man looks up at the two fighters, and around at the area. “A…power plant? Power producing station? That is what this is, is it not?”

Gridmaster flew straight up to dodge the lasers. His feet were hit hard as the laser was to difficult for him to easily warp. The damage was apparent and hindered his foot movement. His shoulder thrust points activated to help Gridmaster deal with the loss of his foot thrust points. For the incoming Runa, he shot an energy ball.

Kaleo did his best to fly towards the power plant.

Adam watched unsure of what to do now.…unless…would that work? He pulls out his prototype weapon and looks at it. It’s made to send powerful blasts of sound waves that could easily shatter glass on the lower setting and sound in a sense is a vibration of molecules. Adam thinks the idea over. His hypothesis is that the gun would disrupt the energy inside the alien? or mechanical being.
He gets out of his car and runs closer, prepared to call to Runa, once he can find a way to distract the thing robot alien?

Runa boosted closer, spinning with Project: Gardna creating a field in front of him, about twice the normal size, deflecting it off. He comes up and tries to stab into Gridmaster’s stomach area.

4/25

Gridmaster is stabbed into the stomach. He kicks at Runa, with what is left of his foot, activating the thrust point, which causes more damage to himself.

Jacob looks back to him.

“Hey! You helping or not?”

It blasts Runa back, but he shoots another laser blast, then comes in with another stab, this time at the chest.

@Kirathel
Pierce slowly nodded. “You are in the city of Heroes. And, this is a power plant.” he responded to the dark figure.

@Jcton
The Plague Doctor observed Gridmaster. That robot has very interesting powers…

Todd blinks and jogs over. “What do you need help with?”

“Well it looks like more stuff fell out of the sky and crashed into that building over there, we should probably go over there and see if anyone’s hurt, that’s what a hero would do, right?”

Gridmaster focused energy into a shield, to dissipate the laser. Seeing as his inner energy was the same as his grid energy, it dissipated along with the laser, though he’s unable to defend himself in time for Runa’s stab. Gridmaster smiles,
“Usually that stabbing works best for a being such as yourself. My species only imitates other species, so we’re a little different on the inside.”

9 out of 12 posts, on twelve he’ll start to regain his powers.

Runa then uses his close quarters for a fire two point blank shots, one at his chest with the hand connected to the imbedded blade, one to the face with his other hand. @Jcton

9/25. After the countdown is up, Runa’s machine parts will be damaged beyond what auto-repair can fix because of RMO

@Runa

Suddenly, The Plague Doctor stepped out of hiding and into plain sight of The dark man, Gridmaster, Project: Runa, and Pierce. “Hello…” he said, cocking his head and waving sinisterly. Pierce now turned his attntion to the Plague Doctor.

IC: The eyes narrow very slightly. The man’s countenance seems to darken, as if he is thinking on what Pierce has said.

“Power then. Very well.”

He turns from the two and begins floating upward. His body becomes blurry, indistinct then-

And then he stops, turning his head very, very slightly to look at the Plague Doctor. “And what are you,” he says with a faintly curious tone. “Your mask…”
