Zombies upon zombies fell before the two. however, Pierce’s confidence would soon leave again. A few of The amalgam monsters suddenly leaped up from the crowds of zombies and tore them out of the way, ripping them to shreds. The monsters roared at CoI and Pierce.
“I was saving my power but well this is desperate” he says as he creates 2 walls smashing both tge zombies and the monsters
The zombies and monsters fell. Pierce looked over to see a plague Doctor spilling out green sludge and fusing the zombies together into the monsters. “Over there!” Pierce said to CoI, pointing to the Plague Doctor.
“Oh ****, lets do this” he says as the throws his razor shield beheading the plague doctor

“Chem-X is over there!” Pierce said as he lead CoI to the building. However, standing in front of the building was Skarpix, who was guarding the entrance.

IC: A shadow falls over the crowd of zombies, as a dark shape suddenly falls from the sky. A shape like a man, with a red scarf trailing behind him like a small cape.
He stops a notable distance above the horde, looking down as he raises his spear. And in a heartbeat, the Dark Man falls.
He falls into the centermost swarm of the horde, his body suddenly lighting up as if he’s on fire. Whitish, muted flames lick over him and envelop him utterly, as he slams into the ground.
A wave of whitish flame surges from him in all directions, the nearby area (though just short of Skarpix, Pierce, and the Controller) bathed in the fires. The zombies and amalgams caught in its corona vanish, incinerated nigh-instantly by the powerful energy. One amalgam remains, its body half-consumed by flame. Without pausing the Dark Man stabs it in the chest with his spear, and pulls.
Its body comes apart, falling in pieces onto the burning street. The man swings his spear upright again, and begins walking toward Controller, Pierce, and Skarpix.
His white eyes are shining with fury.

Todd fires the anti-tank rifle at the robot, ignoring the feeling of being watched as there’s a much bigger metallic threat in front of him.

“Oh, it’s you again!” Pierce exclaimed, Happy to see the dark man, and relieved that the zombies had been taken care of.
IC: The robot’s chest crumples like toilet paper. It doesn’t seem nearly as strong as the other one…and in a moment it becomes clear why.
As it lurches toward Todd, he can see a weird film covering various parts of the robot. Something like rust, running through the machine’s crumpled chest and arms, and just starting to reach down to its legs. The machine keens at a high pitch (the sound nothing like what a robot should be making) and jumps bodily at Todd, aiming to piledrive him out of the hall and the building itself.
Todd only has a second to see these things; as soon as the robot lunges forward it is engulfed in sand, particles flowing in from all directions to push the machine to the ground. Khan grabs Todd by the shoulder and pulls him away from the gap so that he won’t be knocked outside.
Jacob, who had hung back at Khan’s request (not that he would’ve gone in anyway), was now beginning to wonder just what the heck was going on in there from all the noise.
