It seemed to be a study and medical room.
Vladin tried again to open it.
It was still locked.
There was a map leaning out from the desk.
Vladin tried to use his sword as a crowbar.
The door gave way after a few strong attempts.
Vladin put the sword of the floor and slowly entered inside.
There wasn’t much out of the ordinary on the bookshelves but the desk and surrounding area were of interest.
Medical equipment for all sorts of elemental damage was present and seemed to have been used. There were maps of the area around the city with many markings showing archeological sites and villages but on a few of them, a clear and distinct mark was present and was labeled “lab”.
Vladin took the map and put it into his bag. He then turned to look at the rest of the room.
The books were all of archeology, history, plenty of fiction and medicine.
Vladin decided to study the room in detail at a later time. Till then, he ran out of the room, closing the door behind him, leaving the house and running towards Icar’s house, forgetting that Blaze’s house was unlocked.
Icar would be found waiting at his front door for Vladin.
Vladin stopped in front of him, breathing heavily.
“Icar… Icar… Sorry…!”
“Accidentally sleep in?” He asked kindly.
“Kinda.” he said, taking his breath.
Icar shrugs, “Ready to head out?” He asked.
“Yeah uhm, about that.” he said, taking out Blaze’s map, and showing it from a distance big enough for him not to see the world lab. “I found this lab. Do you think we can visit one of these locations?”
“Sure, any in particular?” He asked as he got up and began walking to join Vladin.
Blaze began to wake up as the wind blew him into the fire pit’s stones.
He grumbled a bit as his head hit the rocks.
Vladin looked for the exact location of the lab.
It was several miles away from the city and was within the jungle. It was a respectable distance from the marked villages and archeological sites around it.
Blaze must’ve wanted to keep others away from the lab and this put it someplace close to the City but isolated from other islanders.
“Uhm… Come.”
He said, walking towards the city gates.
