I still can’t choose between Tahu, Gali or Onua. I love Kopaka too just as I love Pohatu. I could compare myself to Onua in many ways however I’d like to be Tahu more… Ugh well… Maybe Tahu because he was my first Toa Mata.

Gali gets no love 
She can win when she gets a interesting personality.
What do you mean? We’re talking about the G1 toa, not G2.
But still, Gali is by far the most generic Toa. she is the “Nice and calm one who can get really angry sometimes, and always tries to keep the unity” She is easily the least developed or interesting of the Toa. and never really caught on with me personally.

That sort of thing could be said about all of the toa.
Tahu is the self centered hotshot, with a fiery temper.
Kopaka is the quiet, cold, calculating loner, who works alone.
Lewa is the fun loving one with a light as air attitude.
Pohatu is the relaxed one, who makes rock solid puns. (I think)
And Onua is the down to earth, wise one, who speaks few words.

Yeah, the Toa Mata are all super generic and bland. but she just happens to be the most generic and bland.
Like Tahu learned to put his ego and temper aside, and to be a better leader.
Kopaka warmed up to the other Toa and the idea of working together.
Lewa matured and learned to act more…mature I guess.
Pohatu…did not change much, I guess him and Kopaka became better friends? I dunno.
Onua also did not change much, but him and Pohatu were already pretty good for the situation they were in.
Gali also did not chnage much, somewhat like Pohatu or Onua, however I feel that she just needed something more. Compare her to someone like…I dunno, Katara from Avatar, Katara is a very similar to Gali, but is far more developed and unique.
