It was a below average film but it excelled in its animation quality though.
Perhaps it looks niceā¦ But then, dirt can also look nice when turned into a polished ball. This argument especially doesnāt really work nowadays when most 3d animated films coming out have a polished look like Pixar. Yet they keep making horribly written childrens films.
The writing for Boss Baby just feels tired and uninspired and is confused on what it wants to be.
Also, Dreamworks is notorious for being subpar anyways. Out of every good hit, they come out with several other lame films, and was originally created out of spite for Disney than wanting quality works. So Dreamworks sort of lacks a standard, which is why I donāt trust them so much anymore.

Donāt forget the Kung Fu Panda series. Itās also great. And Megamind. Megamind is amazing.

Kung Fu Panda couldāve been better but was fun. Megamind was HILARIOUS.
