Star Wars: Survival Over Illum (signups and discussion)

Sorry bro

Uh, @Toa_Vladin, I’m not sure one can poke their head out of a LAAT’s cockpit. I think there’s an internal comms system of some sort that allows the pilot to communicate with the rest of the passengers.

I can’t see why he couldn’t.

Honestly, looking at a diagram of a LAAT, it seems possible that he could look out the back of the cockpit, but it doesn’t really matter.

We just started reentry, and that can take between 13 and 30 minutes, but that’s with shuttles that have mechanisms to slow the fall, so for us I’m guessing it would take more like 6 minutes.

So we’re into the atmosphere?

We’re entering it at least.

Welp, let’s hope we have airbags and seatbelts or we’ll be waking up with massive headaches and freezing our rears off.

though, look on the bright side, if we do really crash, the clones will have to search the wreckage first to see if any of us died in the crash, as apposed to just immediately following us.

How far are we from the cave?

and is the cave opening even open?

This is a GM-Controlled Character and is thus automatically approved.

Name: Commander Zync
Gender: Male
Species: Mass-Produced Clone Trooper
Weapons/Tools: Grappling gun, Beskar plating in armour, Experimental TL-50 Heavy Repeater, Cortosis blade
His special forces squad is limited to only four members for the sweep of Illum, armed with the standard Clone Trooper equipment as well as two being armed with vibroblades and two with electrostaffs
Abilities/Capabilities: Intense Clone Commander training, leadership in hunting down Jedi, talented hand-to-hand combat expertise
Appearance: ARC trooper-style Clone Commander armour with dark red

Personality/Bio: Zync is a lawful man. His personality doesn’t differ too heavily from other Clone Troopers, but at his core Zync pities the younglings he’s been ordered to slaughter.

Assigned to hunt down any younglings that escaped the initial purge, Commander Zync was the leading commander on board the Venator when Order 66 was announced, with a special assignment as well. Zync’s troops had been halved by a devastating attack two months earlier and until his already small elite force could be resupplied he was to stay out of the range of any Jedi knights, focusing solely on surviving padawan.

But to avoid any potential capture and torture for information regarding the orders he was given, Zync and all of his squad were given an electrical system wired directly to their inhibitor chips. A single command completely fries their brains, and can be issued by a governing officer or Zync himself.

Crap. We’re going to be hunted by someone tasked especially to kill us.
Also, how far is the group from the entrance to the crystal caves and is the foyer chamber open? (The room with the ice sculptures of Jedi)

Oh this’ll be fun.

The crystal caves are a good way off. If they want to get there before Zync arrives they’ll need to start moving quick.

I don’t know if the foyer chamber is open or not. Discussion of things regarding specifics really doesn’t occur between me and Emperorduckie.

So, we’ll probably need to carry and/or drag the others if we want to make any sort of head start on the clones.

Pretty much. You’re a group of wounded, inexperienced younglings trying to outrun a group of Clone specialists specifically assigned to track you down, in perfect health.

Good luck.

Well, Kyber crystals resonate with the Force, we can try to sense them out like a compass senses North and South.

Plus, Duckie said we didn’t crash far from the caves so we at least have a chance of getting there first. Upon checking yesterday’s posts, we’re actually “in front of the cave”. But there was no specific note if whether or not it was open.

Yes, MOCingbird, he’s talking to Kaiden.

That’s a decision for the main GM.[quote=“BlackBeltGamer98, post:139, topic:49414”]

Aye, a chance is a chance. But a move on will be necessary, because the Clones are coming.

As for yesterday’s post, I feel a little cross-communication with me on his part would be a good idea, so I’m not attempting to tie loose strings together without knowing what he’s tied first.

I’m not GM, but I would wait for Vladin and TheOnlyGuy before you find their characters.
