The bees swelter under the heat, and crumple up. Ivan is noticeably upset. “Vhat is za meaning of zis?”
Ike just stands there “The stone destroyed Lily when she touched it. Probably that”
Lauren examines the stone, seeing what she can see.
OOC: All the stuff Lauren said was right btw.
IC: From what Lauren can tell, the stone is actually two materials. There’s a small piece in the core of the stone that’s actually providing the power, and the rest forms a sort of shell that both protects and amplifies the core.
Ideruba looks at Ike “What should we eat for dinner?”
Ike “ Not now… We need to take a shower when we get home.”
Ideruba “Sounds good. Take your meds”
Ike “Technically I don’t need it. They’re off label”
Ideruba sighs
“I don’t think we should split it in half,” Lauren says with a sigh. “It’s all or nothing.”
“Duplicate it.”
Ideruba sighs “That’s not how it works”
Ike shrugs “But maybe replicate it?”
Ideruba “Sounds stupid.”
“Hey, if one of you has a replication power, go right ahead.”
Lily pauses “Wouldn’t you be able to see if we could?”
Ike nods “It would be better if we had an area that is netrual to the two”
“You go ahead and do that.”
Ike ponders “We could have a middle ground and both races could visit when needed… Maybe make it a market square? Seems like it would be a place where people could meet.”
Ideruba comments “This problem could be solved if everyone was dead here.”
Ike “Nows not the time first of all. It would be better if they cooperated.”
Ideruba shrugs
IC: Daniel nods once. “Well. There’s not much point to this conflict then.”
He stares a moment, mentally running through strategies to move forward. He looks at Shell a moment. “You wouldn’t happen to have a match would you?”
Jules, losing interest in the conversation, begins to sneak away.
IC: Daniel looks upward to where Jules is.
“Very well then. I’ll go find something.”
He almost seems like he knows she’s there.
“You know what, you go ahead with that.”
Ike grins “I love other civilizations and other countries. It’s interesting to see what they think”
Jules, uneasy about Daniel’s remark, sneaks far enough away that she can run ‘safely’ away without being detected… at least, she hopes.
I’m unsure of how exactly to move everything along here… so I think I’ll just ignore it for right now.
