The First Resistance (RP topic)

“We shall see”

Raphael turned to everyone else.

“We must head back to the castle and regroup.” He said, turning to Hydron.
“And gran that machine. It must be important.”
Hydron nodded, taking the machine as Raphael ordered them to return to the castle.

Kyran nodded.

“Would it not be safer to destroy it?”

“We need go at least first examine it, and try to determine what the Xir’algath are trying to build.” Auriel responded.
“Are we in agreement to this?” Asked Michael.

Kyran nodded.
“That would be a wise start.”

“Fine”

Michael nodded, and with the other High Arhangels he headed back to the castle with the piece of the machine. He motioned for the others to follow.

Kyran tapped his staff as he walked, using it as a walking stick.

“Yet another adventure to save the Multiverse. I must say, I do like these.” He thought to himself.

Eventually, everyone arrived at the castle.
Michael looked down at the machine they had retrieved from the battlefield.
“Could you scan this and try to determine its potential function?” he asked Surius.

Surius nods as his hand shifts into a scanning device, moving it over the machine to determine the function.

Surius would find that the machine was a component of a larger mechanism, one that was most likely used as some sort of missile/bomb launcher. Hydron scanned as well, and found the same results.

“What have you found?” Raphael asked Surius.
@Runa

“It has no function when working alone.” He tells Raphael. “However, when working in tandem with other devices, is likely used for launching weapons of explosive force.”

“We must destroy this.” Micharl almost immediately said. Hydron, however, held his hand up in protest.
“Not yet. We should find and study the other components first.” He suggested.

“Bringing together multiple components could make it easy to bring together and use in its entirety.” Surius reasons. “Destroying this now prevents that. The other pieces do not need this one to be in working order for them to be studied.”

“You may be right, but we could also use this machine to our own advantage. We could turn the tables and use this against The Xir’algath.” Hydron argued.
@Runa

“Yet if we try to do so, they could just as easily steal it back. I believe it in our best interests to destroy the machine.”

“Ayet, where do you stand on this?” Michael asked.

“Destruction, will confirm security. No need to pollute our arsenal with Xir’algath weaponry”

“Very well.”
Said Hydron, as he shot a laser blast at the machine and destroyed it.
“Now what?” He asked Ayet.
