The First Resistance (RP topic)

The wounded Xir’algath formed his fists into spiked maces and swung them at Ayet’s face.

They hit Ayets body causing Ayet to grunt in discomfort before the Xir’algath’s sins combust

The Xir’algath wailed as he caught fire.

Jonathan hid behind an overturned table, biding his time.

Kyran calmly walked over. “If you’ve got some… talents, I highly advise you help.” He waved his staff, and a dark, roiling storm cloud formed over the majority of the Xir’galath.

Jonathan looked up at Kyran, conflicted. He wanted to get out there and fight the Xir’algath, he really did. But the problem was that he had no “superpowers” or anyyhing else that would be of as much help.
Unless…
Jonathan looked about the strewn rubble, trying to find something of use to his plan.

The xir’algath soldiers looked up at the swirling cloud, momentarily confused.

Meanwhile, in the Life Realm…

The six high angels of The Council of Life worriedly observed the altercation from their castle. “Where did they come from?! The Xir’algath were supposed to be banished from the Multiverse, blocked off by our Sacred Seal!” Nathaniel frustratedly said, slimming his fists on the table.
“How is Ayet handling this?” Asked Auriel.

“He chose to intervene, and is fighting them off.” Michael answered, observing the fight intently.
“I think it’s time to send in our champion to take care of these Xir’algath.” He suddenly said, sparking murmurs among the five other angels.

“You mean…?” Auriel gasped, to which Michael nodded.

Truth watches from a corner of the room, nearly breaking into a hysterical laughter at the return of the banished. He had once wondered what had happened to them long ago, and he thinks this answers his questions.

Inlenor on the other hand was more terrified of the creatures and shot at them with her weapon, firing blasts of nearly pure Primordial energy at them, well the energy was modified for a more destructive effect, but it was still much more pure, than what they gave to the Celestials.

@Jcton
A few Xir’algath charged at Inlenor, but quickly fell as their limbs were incinerated from their bodies by the primordial energy blasts.
One of them ejected spikes at Inlenor.

@L.O.S.S-KAL
A xir’algath charged at Ayet, swinging at him with an axe-hand.

Inlenor dodges to the right, with her insect-like reflexes, using her wings to her advantage.

Surius dropped to the ground and shifted both arms into laser shooters, firing at the Xir’algath.

Ciestaal hid and meditated, biding his time.

Ayet instead of firing dug the disc of his crossbow into it which rotated as it loaded a new bolt

The Xir’alagth roared at Surius as they were blasted.

@L.O.S.S-KAL
The Xir’algath shrieked in pain as its flesh was churned.

Richard breathed out as he jumped out from behind the table, and charged at the Xir’algath with a discarded dagger that he found.

Ayet fired directly into it

The Xir’algath burst into an explosion of light.

Suddenly, an even brighter flash of light followed, and a large Angel Knight swooped into the ballroom. He slashed Starbreaker at many Xir’algath, quickly befalling them.
Hear me, Xir’algath scum! leave in peace, or face the might of…Raphael!” he exclaimed, an aura of light emanating from him.

Ayet grumbled something about not being trusted to purge

Surius kept fighting off the Xir’algath. “You have broken the law. Stop resisting or die.”

The Xir’algath facing Surius began to grow in stature, spikes forming over his body. He stepped up to him and sung his spiked fist at his face.

Surius jumped back, and his right arm shifted into a blade, edge being quickly passed over by green energy going like a chainsaw blade. He readied for another attack as he kept firing with his left.

@Runa
The Xir’alagth was impacted by the energy blasts, but seemed undamaged. He then slashed at Surius’ blade-hand with his own.

Meanwhile, Raphael began to rise into the air towards the Ballroom’s ceiling.

Surius blocks the blade with his own and continues firing. “Stand down.”

The Xir’algath refused to “Stand down”, and came at Surius with even more mad slashes.
