So, I’ve got a short story. Bill, Jack, and Fred were travelling in a forest when they came to a fork in the road, and decided to split up… wait, wrong story. Bill comes up to Jack, and asks him “Where’s Fred?”
“He already went back to Japan,” Jack says.
“Really?” Bill says. “I thought he wasn’t leaving until tomorrow?” Bill goes to check, and Sure enough, Fred is gone. Bill goes back to Jack. and replies “You’re right, he’s left.”
Come to think of it, maybe they were splitting up at a fork in the trail.
