Just then the skin retracted over one and one of the bigger arthropods arrose from it, and after a moment screeched at them

“Gross-aft storage units,” Load corrects himself as he and Lock dash for the creature’s sides.
It goes to slash at them
The twins scramble backward to avoid the slashes, and Lock fires at the side of the arthropod’s head.
OOC: What did I say earlier about defensive drones being a possibility?
IC: “Lock! Load! Get back in here right now!” Alpha ordered.
Seraphicon shakes his head, he had just cleaned his wings and now they have a giant scorpion outside that they woke up.

It fell backwards dead, but in doing so several others arrose

OOC: so? What else do you have in mind?
IC: “How about you guys get out here and lend a servo?” Load requests as he and Lock move to repeat their attack upon another arthropod.

Alpha looked for any Autobot or Decepticon in the group that could make Energon quickly.
OOC: @Chromeharpoon, defend ourselves from what your guys just woke up. Wait, try not attacking but hiding inside the fortress and masking your energy signatures.
One tries to grab load from behind
“Is anyone here able to make Energon?” Alpha asks the group in general.
OOC: right, and while doing so, take down the fortress.
IC: @Ace Lock fires upon the arthropod antagonizing his twin as Load is grabbed, swinging his mace at his captor’s head.
It fell off, but the others began firing acid at them
OOC: not quite; if we stay hidden well enough and long enough, the scorpions may think the threat has passed and return to their storage units.
IC: @Ace. Alpha looks for any sort of power line he could plug into himself.
There was none
The twins begin to make a hasty retreat back to the inside, firing upon the arthropods as the did so.

“Screw hands, get out here and shoot!” Load adds.
Railifre begins to shoot at the invading insects.

Seraphicon had a really ridiculous idea but it was worth a shot. He put his wings together, almost like scissor blades, and scrapes the ‘feathers’ together like nails on a chalkboard and generates a squealing, screeching sound.
He tries to see if he could find a deterrent frequency of sound via this method through different speeds and angles of scraping.
Alpha began to ready himself for battle.
“Remember, the sides of their heads are the most vulnerable spots,” Lock says as he and Load take positions by the entryway.
As they continued pushing more and more awakened
Seraphicon tried to see if any of the sounds he was generating were having any effect on the scorpions while Alpha proceeded to hammer them away. He held it in reverse and this made it a somewhat piercing weapon due to the point on that face of the hammer.
