Gronius was already gone. He took as much scrap metal from the Axalon and dead giants as he could and started to build something.

“But I thought we had to kill Unicron first.”
“I guess I could see what I could do.”
She walks over to Gronius.
“Hey, so uh, why are you leaving?”
“I know you know why.”
“Well yeah, but we still need to kill Unicron.”
“What do you mean?”
“I lost Song… The team is no more.”
He turned to her.
“I can’t defeat Unicron by myself.”
The he turned back.
“I want to go home.”
"But what about Maximus, Scourge, wolf guy and that bird that really hates me?
“Maximus don’t trust me anymore. I have no idea where Dire is and honestly, I really don’t care. Axis is almost dead. And Scourge… Well… I still trust him. But two mans can’t defeat Unicron.”
The portal was ready. Gronius pushed a lever made out a zombie limb. The portal glowed in green.
“Yes! I’m a genius!”
Then the portal glowed in red.
“What? No!”
Then it collapsed and felled down.
“Gosh!”
“Told you so!”
Arcee shouted from far away.
“Well why doesn’t Maximus trust you?”
