I never liked Vakama turning bad in 2005. I felt it was way out of character for him.

Huh, always liked that, I felt it developed his character very well, it fekt like one of his many lessons in which helped him change into the wise turaga

But this was the guy who was all about the importance of the Toa, living up to being one, taking heroism more seriously than anyone else. I don’t think he would be the one to betray the team so easily.

Yep should have been Matau.
I think it could’ve been interesting if the betrayal was a ruse. Like he was trying to infiltrate the Visorak Horde to gain Roodaka’s trust and turn her army against her.

I don’t see Matau doing that, the whole story of 2005 got the toa metru closer together and gained each others trust
