Hmmm… I think that’s the new generation of Lego fans that never heard of Bionicle until 2015. I can imagine that, to new Lego fans that grew up with Hero Factory, it’s the same as it was with Bionicle fans. Their favourite line was canceled and replaced by a similar line that, in their mind, because they grew up with with the canceled line, is worse.

Bionicle tanked at the end too, and we got a bad ending but now it’s back. You never know.

CCBS, one of, if not the best system for construction ever came from the line, it sold better with new audiences, and it gave us a giant roster for pieces. Overall HF was good even if the story wasn’t.
