Did anyone ever use the Hero Factory Recon Team service?

I almost did once, but it was too expensive, so I didn’t.

Nope.
Wanted to, but the customization was limited, and the whole “people have to pick out the pieces for your model by hand” was weak justification for the $15.00 price-tag on a ten dollars-or-less set with only one (rather nice-looking) exclusive piece (with a side of cruddy naming system), made it far from a great investment.

I could have, but shipping, the idea was cool though. The $15 was the average price here, so I’m okay with that,
