The wolfen continued their barrage of cannon fire, patches of dirt exploding violently on impact, all around them.
Eric continues to fire at the wolfen manning the cannons. Armin also starts shooting.
They continue to be pinned down by cannon fire.
And they continue to fire at the Wolfen manning said cannons.
Echo had been with the group “we were fooled. How is this supposed to be a fair thing when they had time to prepare traps…maybe we should fight fire with fire if we can”
They had difficulty in doing so, as cannonballs were whizzing past their heads.
Eric sighed. He then ducked back behind the hill, Armin soon doing the same.
The cannon fire stopped.
Eric grabbed a good sized clump of dirt and threw it up into the air.
The fire resumed breifly.
Eric ran out from behind the hill instantly, using the time it takes to reload cannons to dash across the empty space between the hills and the cannons, shooting down Wolfen as he goes. Armin follows close behind.
OOC: dude, the cannons aren’t all shooting at the same time, they aren’t all just going to stop reloading at the same time. Plus there’s a crap ton of cannons.
OOC: Eric and Armin are pretty close to the line, so only so many cannons would be able to fire. Not to mention, it takes quite a while to reload a cannon and to aim it too.
OOC: they couldn’t have gotten that close, the cannon balls would have tons them to shreds by that point. Two people can’t break the blockade.
OOC: There’s a bunch of hills to use as cover. And it takes a while to reload cannons.
OOC: but there’s a lot of cannons. And they aren’t all reloading at the same time. You can’t break the blockade by yourself.
OOC: As far as I knew, they were all waiting for their target to appear to fire.
IC: Apparently Eric and Armin weren’t as close as they thought they were, so they started walking east, towards the closest wall.
The cannon fire continued.
Eric and Armin walked out of the range of said cannons, continuing east.
OOC: You can’t go around the blockade if you’re trying to do that. If you’re trying to evade the fire, I guess that works.
