The In-Between (RP Topic)

Eric and Armin continue east, towards the wall.

OOC: if they’re next to the wall, less cannons can fire upon them. And even with 30 people, the blockade wouldn’t fall.

OOC: True, but the Blockade is no longer near you.

OOC: What?

IC: Eric and Armin reach the wall, then walk south.

OOC: The Blockade Curved away from you, ot’s not a straight line, look, you’re just going to end back up where you started, pinned down by cannon fire.

OOC: Guess we’ll see what happens

IC: Eric and Armin continue South.

OOC: Edge or not, you’re still not going to be able to cross the border by yourself.

OOC: Guess we’ll see.

IC: Eric and Armin continue south.

They encounter the border. Again.

Eric and Armin continue walking, using the hills as cover.

It’s a grassy feild, and the cannons continued to fire.

Eric paused. He then raises his hands in surrender and walks towards the Wolfen, Armin following close behind.

With several of the Wolfen still aiming their guns at the two, one walked up and stuck handcuffs on them.

“I ask for parley.” Eric asks. Armin nods in agreement.

“Request denied. You don’t represent the opoasing leader or his party. A parley would be pointless.”

“I request parley.” Eric repeats. Armin just follows him.

“Request denied. You aren’t the enemy commander nor do you represent him or his interests. You don’t have any authority over the rest of your army, so parley is pointless.”

“I have authority over him.” Eric gestures towards Armin, who nods quickly. Eric repeats his request for Parley.

“You are not the opoasing commander. Having dominion over one person isn’t enough grounds for parley. If your commander actually requested that, then we would be open to negotiations, but here, you don’t represent your army, and negotiations with you would not affect the status of your army.”

Hitora tried standing, but fell back down. He carefully removed his metal boot, wincing in pain all the while, until it was off, revealing his torn up lower leg. With some proper medical attention, it would be fine, and his right arm, which was uncovered, seemed to be worse, but he seemed more focused on, and worried about, his leg.

Tangi kept trying to cheer him up. “Hey, it could be worse. Only their troops were killed, and they wasted oil and gas they could’ve used for actually useful purposes. This wasn’t a success for them.”

Hitora nods in understanding, but keeps his focus on his leg and the metal boot beside it.

Eric sighs. He and Armin follow the Wolfen past their blockade.
