Transformers: Salvation

“Hey, you guys!” Sprocket welcomes them. “Glad to have ya!”

The terminal’s holographic displays fade into view, displaying an assortment of reports and menus… all written in cyberglyphics.

Torchwing decided to look into the function of this station. Why it was here, what it was for, who had made it, and anything else that could possibly useful.

Whatever information the terminal was giving (or whatever commands that Torchwing may inadvertently be executing) could only be understood by one who could read the ancient language of the Golden Age. Panels on some of the nearby silos could be seen shifting.

“Glad to be out here.” Replied Lightshift. “Where are you guys?”

Sprocket sends Lightshift his location.

Driftburn catches up with the rest of the expedition, from being a bit behind them.
“So, what have we found so far?”
@Chromeharpoon

Daria smiles,
“Fun, I don’t like mysteries. When you have something to shoot at let me know.”
She leaves after waving goodbye,
“Maybe…maybe…with all the rumors going around…”

“Thanks.” Lighshift takes off towards the coordinates, his brothers close behind.

“Nothing, yet,” says Sprocket, investigating a drum-like machine protruding from the hull of the station.

Driftburn looks at the drum-like machine,
“For all you know that’s a storage container.”
He glances around, wondering what he could help with.

Sprocket shrugs his shoulders and nods. “Yeah.”

Terminals and hatches could be found throughout the exterior, along with more drums and silos.

Driftburn goes to a hatch and sees what he can find.

Lightshift looks for Sprocket as he and his brothers fly above the ring.
@Chromeharpoon

The hatch opens to reveal a small airlock.

Sprockets brown and green armor stands out from the predominantly silver and grey metals used to construct the ring of the station.

The five swoop down, transforming and landing next to Sprocket.
“Hello there.” Riot says.
Fuse and Vigor groan, and Lightshift face-palms.

“Found an airlock!”
Driftburn called to the rest,
“Looks like we can enter through here.”
Driftburn looks into the airlock, hoping there was a way to see further down, to where it lead.

Daria decides to walk around the ship, it was still big and she still needed a map to get anywhere. She guesses it was a good time to memorize the layout.

Sprocket, not getting the reference, waves and returns the greeting with a simple “hi”.

All Driftburn would see currently was a rather ornate door.

Zepar was looking at the computer terminals, curious to see why a miniature Cybertron was drifting around like this and drawing in the planet’s gases.

What is this thing? he thought, referring to the structure as a whole.

The terminal identified the station as a kind of “culture ark”: within its interior were stored hundreds of works of film, literature, sculpture, and other forms of art from the Golden Age. The ring and spires around the miniature Cybertron were primarily dedicated to maintainance stations, docks, and storerooms, while the sphere itself, hovering in the center of the apparatus, played host to a massive gallery within its core.

The five brothers look around.
“So what exactly are we looking for? Is this… thing even supposed to be here?”

OOC: kinda like the Ferrotaxis from Transformers: Devastation; it carries the sum total of Cybertronian culture.

IC: Zepar makes a mental note of this and informs Sprocket (I think that’s the one who was nuts about Ancient Knight tech) of it.
