Axis said, trying her best not to break into tears.
Direwolf slowly walked over to the two
“Maximus. Maximus please talk to me.”

“So, we really did it didn’t we?.. After all we’ve been through together, it’s finally done.”
Maximus said, watching Unicron parts decorate the night sky.

“Maximus, listen. Everything’s going to be alright. We’ll get you fixed up. Don’t worry.”
Axis said, tightly holding one of his hands.
Maximus turned his head to face her. He slowly raised his free arm, and gently put his hand to her face.
“Oh my dear Axis… still so young…”
“Maximus, please. Don’t do this to me. You can’t do this to me! I can’t go on without you!”
Axis said. She was crying now.
“Listen to me. I need you to be strong in my absence.”
He moved his free hand from her face, to the back of his head, and ejected Delta’s chip. He then gave it to Axis.
“Take good care of him. I know you will.”
He said with a smile.

Direwolf said Nothing and turned his back to the two.
“Now as for you Direwolf… There’s something I need to give to you as well…”

Direwolf turned to face Maximus.
Maximus opened his chest slowly, and removed the Matrix from it with a shaky hand.
“No Maximus, I can’t.”
“I’ve thought long and hard about this. Axis is far too young in her life to handle such a responsibility. So, Direwolf, I must pass the Matrix of Leadership to you, as it was passed to me, not so long ago.”
